"Lord Narasimha is here and also there. Wherever I go Lord Narasimha is there. He is in the heart and is outside as well. I surrender to Lord Narasimha, the origin of all things and the supreme refuge." (Narasimha Pranama)

Lord Narasimha is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, known primarily as the 'Great Protector' who specifically defends and protects his devotees in times of need.

The picture on the right is of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple at Namakkal, Tamilnadu, INDIA.

The unique feature of this temple :

In the sanctum sanctoram along with the principal deity Lord Narasimha, sculpted images of Lord Brahma on the left side and Lord Shiva on the right side are seen . Further, on one side is the Sun God, and on the other side the Moon God, holding Samaram (Hand Fan) and pacifying the Lord’s anger. Likewise, Lord Siva and Lord Brahma are seen praying to the Lord and attempting to pacify Him.
